On Monday 12 August 2024, Alpha Pi Publications hosted a presentation of the book Greek Merchant Shipping 1453–1850: Propontis, Black Sea, Aegean by Aikaterini Bekiaroglou-Exadaktylou, in the courtyard of the Chios Maritime Museum.
A discussion was held by PASOK MP Stavros Michailidis and the author, moderated by Sotiris Paradeisis, headmaster of Volissos High School. The event concluded with a Q&A session with the audience.
