The Chios Literary Society hosted the presentation of the poetry collection “50-odd Years of Early Works” by the late architect George Kallergis on Wednesday 28 August 2024 at 7:30 p.m. in the courtyard of the Chios Maritime Museum.
Speaking about his work and his role in society were Anthi Los-Kaloudi, Costas Abanoudis and Antonis Lardas.
“This collection, drawn from nearly five decades of work, was chosen by him shortly before his passing in December 2019. The poems are not presented in chronological order. Each one held its own special meaning for him,” reads the inside cover of the book. The edition was curated by Yiannis Voulgaris, with cover design by Nafsika Saliari.
